Durant students read with their reading buddies Friday. Classes pair up to read or do activities from our Caring School Community curriculum monthly.

Guest speaker, Brady Meyer. Brady graduated from Sumner-Fredericksburg High School in 2013 and attended Wartburg College, graduating in 2017. During his time at Wartburg, Brady majored in Biology and wrestled for the multi-National Champion Wartburg Knights. Following his graduation from Wartburg, Brady attended physical therapy school at Briar Cliff, graduating in 2021.
He is currently employed as a physical therapist at Taylor Physical Therapy working in Waverly and Sumner. He is currently leading the youth Cougar Wrestling Club and is passionate about health and fitness. Brady values hard work, respect, and accountability in both himself and his wrestlers.

Reminder, 1st-4th grade basketball clinic will now start on Thursday, November 6. Fredericksburg students may ride the shuttle to the high school but will need to have their own rides back to Fredericksburg. Clinic is from 3:45-4:45 PM.

SFHS Student-Athlete of the Week: Payten Seehase. Payten is a wonderful person that impacts others around her. Congratulations, Payten!
A reminder that there will not be school on Tuesday, November 1 so students, staff and community can attend the first round of state volleyball and support the girls. Cougar Proud!!

Fredericksburg Elementary students earned their Cougar Way Incentive. They were able to create fun masks. Way to go kids!

State volleyball information for Tuesday's 2 PM match-up vs Western Christian:
We will play at 2 PM on Court 2. Events are held at the Xtream Arena in Coralville this year. Tickets can be pre-purchased online at xtreamarena.com or at the Xtream Area box office.
